Hier werden horizontale Strukturen in eine vertikale Ebene gebracht. Blicke einmal zum Tümpel: Wenn der Wind weht, bilden sich kleine Wellen und das Wasser kräuselt sich. So ist es auch bei dem Windspiel: Es bildet eine Welle vertikal nach. Wenn Wind kommt, wiegt sich erst einer der Stäbe, dann der nächste. Mich erinnert die Skulptur an Präriegras, das sich im Wind bewegt.
Bei absoluter Windstille sieht das Kunstwerk eher bedrohlich aus, wie eine Fläche, die sich optisch wie ein Container schließt. Erst bei Bewegung wird das Windspiel weich.
